Pioneers Festival
Context:
Pioneers Festival positioned Vienna as a temporary global convergence point for future technologies, entrepreneurship, and capital. Over three days, 3,000+ founders, investors, corporates, and media gathered in a highly curated environment designed to catalyse high-value connections and long-term partnerships.
Mandate:
As Head of Pioneers Festival and Festival Experience, the mandate was to design and orchestrate the full platform structure -aligning partnerships, stakeholder interests and audience formats into a coherent ecosystem.
The focus was on turning a large-scale conference into a strategically structured growth platform.
Build:
The focus lay in building and activating a multi-stakeholder ecosystem. This included securing and structuring strategic in-kind partnerships across hospitality, mobility, beverage and production - transforming operational dependencies into mutually reinforcing value partnerships. Sponsor presence was curated to ensure alignment between brand narrative and platform experience, strengthening long-term partner relationships rather than one-off visibility.
The role also required aligning a complex network of stakeholders - venue, sponsors, exhibitors, production, programming - into a coherent execution model. Beyond the main stage, targeted sub-formats such as Investors Day and Pioneers X were developed to deepen audience segmentation and increase ecosystem density, creating focused environments for capital deployment and venture matchmaking.
Shift:
The result was not simply a conference, but a temporary venture ecosystem: a structured platform where capital, innovation, and corporate interest intersected under a unified experience architecture.
