PENSION OBERTRUM

Opportunity:
As part of a long-term diversification strategy, Trumer Privatbrauerei began exploring business opportunities beyond its core brewery operations. A vacant guesthouse in Obertrum became the strategic testing ground - not simply as real estate activation, but as a potential extension of brand, audience and revenue logic.

Development:
Develop a temporary concept under lean budget conditions to validate demand, define target audiences and assess long-term scalability.
The initiative required speed, clarity and entrepreneurial ownership - from positioning and brand alignment to operational design and implementation.

Structure:
Within eight weeks, a functioning prototype was launched.
An innovative self-check-in guesthouse with community at its core took shape: 16 wooden tiny rooms, 9 traditional rooms and 2 apartments.
A retreat nestled in a beautiful garden just moments away from lake Obertrum.

Following successful validation, the concept transitioned from activation to structure.
A comprehensive business and performance framework was developed - including KPI systems, revenue optimisation logic, full business planning and budget architecture.
Operational workflows were structured, teams built and led, and digital infrastructure implemented - including the deployment of a self-check-in system as a functioning product layer. Customer journey design and UX logic were integrated across physical and digital touchpoints.
